Mid Eclipse Season Energy Check-in….Do you know what the solar eclipse has in store for you?

As Mercury shifted retrograde the day after Easter, on a Monday, which also happened to be April 1st aka April Fool’s Day, it was complete astrological orchestration of a whole new energetic cycle. A death of our old selves and the birth of the new. The fool card in tarot represents making important choices based on intuition not logic and taking a leap of faith towards new beginnings. The fool also represents childlike joy and innocence, a purity to the magic all around us. Truly the mark of new birth, evolution, and karmic rebalancing.

We currently have the Sun, the Earth’s power source, in Aries. Aries is the initial fire sign, it’s the spark. Aries energy is all about taking action, it’s quick witted, snarky, funny, and ambitious. It’s the emperor in tarot for a reason. Aries takes charge. Aries can also be impatient but coupled with Mercury in retrograde we will be forced to slow down and determine the best course of action to move toward our dream life and accomplish our goals. It will force us to see through the delusion, the lies we tell ourselves, and the disingenuousness of what’s around us. This is the perfect storm for major, intentional, and fated changes. Fated changes to seeds we already planted.

Last full moon we had a partial lunar eclipse in Libra. Libra and Aries are opposites, meeting in the middle is balancing the scales between self and others, as well as in relationships of all kinds. These two signs have particularly been energized with the transit north node currently in Aries pushing us into new energy, while the transit south node in Libra wants to hold us back in the comfort of what we are used to. The partial lunar eclipse on March 25th was the starting point to show us where we need to tilt the scales of justice. Within self we are being squeezed to release any and all co-dependency, the need to seek external validation, and toxic addictions of any kind. Within relationships we are being asked to secure healthy boundaries and even the scales of reciprocity.  Where do you need to set-up stronger boundaries so that you only allow in the kind of relationships that fuels your spirit while also allowing you to add your own fuel? The old paradigm creates the dynamic of magnetizing the empath to the narcissist to create balance, and that is no longer going to work. We MUST balance within ourselves the ego and the mind with our heart and soul in order to really align with this new energy.

As the moon shifts toward Aries on April 8th and creates a solar eclipse we will be called to spring to action. How can you be the emperor, the boss, in your life? Where do you need to pull yourself into your proverbial office and get really honest with yourself? Identify what works for you, what increases your life force energy and what takes it away. Think about ways you can improve your daily life to create more childlike joy, innocence and inspiration. This fresh energy will align you to magic, but only if you are ready to take a leap. How can you create change in your life? What and who do you need to release to fly free?

The way you physically, or energetically, show up will change in some way. Your stability and comfort in your own body/self is improving.

Pisces rising signs have Aries in the second house. The solar eclipse will impact your finances, resources and self-worth. Attitudes around how one can influence the other will become clear and shifts in mindset will happen. Blocks with pleasure may be released to create more flow with resources.

Aquarius rising folks have Aries in their third house. This will impact the way you communicate, think and possibly even relate with siblings. You may feel more power and strength in the way you think and communicate, understanding that your external world is a direct reflection of your inner stories. It might be time to tune to a higher frequency of communication with self and others.

Capricorn risings have Aries in their fourth house. This solar eclipse will impact family dynamics and family property. Decisions in buying or selling a home are likely, or how you attach to these items will change in some major way. Showing more compassion and kindness and opening your heart to the goodness of the world is also likely. Even in the pain, there is still good.

Sag risings, 5th house Aries folks will see a shift in their romance, creativity, and their relationships with children. Bringing new life and fun to all these areas. Their communication with their children and romantic partners may open up and they may start showing more creativity in their everyday life. They may experience more joy as they tap into childlike energy.

Scorpio risings, 6th house Aries will bring new energy to their daily routine, habits, their overall physical health and/or work. Changes in work-life balance and health routines are likely. Gemini risings, Aries in the 11th house will experience changes in social groups, community support, or projects that help serve others. They may even get divine knowledge that guides them how to bring their visions to life. They will want to use their communication and social skills to bring about needed change.

Taurus risings, 12th house Aries, is doing the work internally. Major shifts are happening to the deepest parts of you, parts of you that you like to keep hidden, or may not even know exists. A light is being cast on your shadows, asking you to give them grace, acceptance and find a way to integrate them into the highest parts of you. You may get really deep insight into the grand tapestries of the Universe and you most likely will want to hide out for a while.

Stay grounded during eclipse season. Pray, meditate and take care of your physical vessel. Talk to yourself like you would your favorite person. You will get through this, a better version of you is breaking through. Keep your mind on the present and try to focus on the positives. As always, feel your feelings and then move them out. They don’t need to stay stuck with you. Once you move out the old, get excited for the new!! Your joy in the anticipation makes the ride that much more fun.
